CHRIST

In the crowning moment of our fallen history, the Christ condescended into our midst and began to teach us the good news about our long-forgotten Father. The message that he had come so far to deliver:  God had forgiveness in His wings and arms open ready to receive us.

Through repentance and immersion in God's spirit, both of which Christ was happy to demonstrate in the flesh, we would be able to shake off our corruption and be salvaged from the perishing world. The dirt and grime - sin - that we had accumulated in our quest to rule over ourselves need only a bath. Once clean, the Spirit would direct our paths and keep us from falling again. But if we should, by the habits ingrained in our human nature, fall again, He would extend forgiveness to truly repentant as many times as it took.

The Evil One who had governed our demise from the beginning did not take well to this message. From the shadows, he whispered into the souls of government and religious leaders alike, that they should reject and even put to death this "Christ." Knowing that his time had come to an end - that God was intent to rescue His children from his clutches - the Evil One had Christ crucified and sent to the grave.

However, death was an ailment whose effects could only hold the wicked. The message of Life that Christ had spread through His teaching was much too potent to be confined to the grave. Love, forgiveness, charity and hope sprung forth like an eternal secret, and the sons and daughters everywhere began to prophesy of God's defeat of death in Christ.  We watched our brother and Lord, Christ, ascend back into glory with the Father. Left with the promise that he was coming back to deliver us to our rightful place with God, we carried on in new light.
